Greek-Style Pita Pockets
Ingredients
- 2 burger(s) Weight Watchers Chicken burgers
- 1 tsp table salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup(s) fat-free plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup(s) peeled sliced cucumber, diced
- 1 medium plum tomato(es), diced
- 1/4 cup(s) uncooked red onion(s), minced
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp dried dill weed
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 2 small whole wheat pita(s), cut in half widthwise
- 1 cup(s) romaine lettuce
- 2 Tbsp reduce fat feta cheese, crumbled
Instructions
- Combine yogurt, cucumber, tomato, onion, lemon juice, garlic salt, dill and cayenne in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until chicken burgers are ready.
- Season frozen burgers with salt and pepper to taste. Spray pan or outdoor grill with cooking spray and preheat to medium-high. Cook frozen chicken burgers, turning occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 165øF (about 15 minutes).
- Remove burgers to a plate and cut into quarters.
- Fill each pita pocket half with ¬ cup romaine lettuce, 2 pieces of chicken burger, drizzle with Greek yogurt sauce, and garnish with feta cheese.
Notes
Yields 4 Greek-style pita pocket halves.
